The paper deals with the evaluation of the shielding efficiency of a finite thickness strip, powered by an external line of current. The analysis is performed by estimating the current induced on the strip, by means of an effective expansion factorizing the right edge behaviour, according to the Meixner condition: such a choice simplifies the numerical treatment of the problem, in order to find the relevant quantities to examine the shielding effectiveness. This numerical procedure can be usefully adopted in a wide range of frequencies, making the proposed method interesting for different kinds of applications.

Abstract
The paper deals with the evaluation of the shielding efficiency of a finite thickness strip, powered by an external line of current. The analysis is performed by estimating the current induced on the strip, by means of an effective expansion factorizing the right edge behaviour, according to the Meixner condition: such a choice simplifies the numerical treatment of the problem, in order to find the relevant quantities to examine the shielding effectiveness. This numerical procedure can be usefully adopted in a wide range of frequencies, making the proposed method interesting for different kinds of applications.File in questo prodotto:
