IL CASTELLO GIUSSO E IL BORGO DI FONDAZIONE DI SICIGNANO DEGLI ALBURNI. RILIEVO DI CONOSCENZA PER STRATEGIE DI VALORIZZAZIONE SOCIO-TERRITORIALE

This issue talk about a research agreement cofinanced by the Municipality of Sicignano degli Alburni. The scientific activity developed by the Faculty of Engineering in the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, aimed to document, through the survey as the main instrument of knowledge, a path of knowledge about the fortified architecture known as Castello Giusso and surrounding area, with the ruins of the original patronal church onf San Matteo Apostolo ed Evagelista. The site, located on a rocky hill at over 600 meters above sea level, is the primitive nucleus of the town, developed in the Middle Ages under the castle around an ascending path that reaches the area of the castle and through which the patronal church of Sicignano degli Alburni as long as existed.
